Narrow gauge construction train in Michigan, 1921. Looks like a 2 ft gauge.

This is a Baldwin-built 2ft gauge locomotive built in large numbers during the Great War for the Americans to use in the trenches. Some were later used in the UK, and were by reports dreadful steamers. Duncharris 8 July 2005 18:41 (UTC)
