This JPEG image was created by Wiki user Aaroamal by digitizing a printed reproduction of the photograph in the S. N. D. P. Yogam Golden Jubilee Souvenir published in 1953. The original photograph (as collaged with a background sketch) was first published circa 1916 by the studio Klein & Peyrel of Madras and was widely used in connection with the 60th birth anniversary celebrations of Sree Narayana Guru in 1916. In accordance with Section 25 of the Indian Copyright Act of 1957 and amendments thereto, the Term of Copyright in the case of a photograph, shall subsist until fifty (50) years from the beginning of the calendar year next following the year in which the photograph is published. The original photograph is therefore past the term restriction on reproduction and publication.
