[edit] Summary
Naqsh-i Rustam (Iran). Photo Ginolerhino 2002. This is absolutely false. Nagsh-i Rustam is near Persepolis and the tomb of several of the achaemenian kings whereas Sassanid Kings base was in Mesopotamia. This picture is a picture of a covenant between two dynasties where a Sassanid kings comes to visit the Achemanian kings. The horseman's figure on the right is a depiction of the Achaemenian king using the Achaemanian's depiction of kings as represented in Persopolis and the horseman on the left is a depiction of Sassanid king(in the Sassanid's time's style of the art), exchanging the ring of covenant.
