An anonymous editor deleted the Slavic name of the city, stating that she/he is from Naoussa and therefore knows that it never has been called Negush. This is clearly a case of original research. It is official Wikipedia policy not to include original research into articles. Wikipedia:No original research. This policy prohibits editors "from drawing on their personal knowledge without citing their sources". The Name "Negush" for Naoussa can be easily confirmed by an appropriate search using a search engine. Google gives 1,730 hits for Negush and 1,010 hits for Негуш.  Andreas  (T) 15:19, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

By adding what the name of the city is in Greek, and JUST Slavic,implies a connection between the two when there is not. If you know the Turkish, Italian, and German names (assuming all are historically relevant), by all means be bold and add them. However, the Slavic name is useful, and since you basically told me it has to do with history—it should stay. Khoikhoi 05:05, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
