Naogaon Sadar is located at 24.8042° N 88.9500° E . It has 60753 units of house hold and total area 275.73 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Naogaon Sadar has a population of 327632. Males constitute are 51.58% of the population, and females 48.42%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 167542. Naogaon Sadar has an average literacy rate of 34.5% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
