Article moved from "Namp'o" to "Nampo" to avoid using diacritics in article titles. --Sewing 06:04, 16 Aug 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Nampho
The "h" version of the name does seem to be official, and is used for example by Naenara. -- Visviva 08:15, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 12-lane freeway
Maybe this is splitting hairs, but I count 10 lanes in the highway between Nampo and Pyongyang: [1] --Reuben 02:30, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
Let's just say 'large freeway' then. Seeing as we can see it and the railway from space (google earth or maps) and follow it from Nampo to Pyongyang I've removed the 'citation needed' tag from that section. However, I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of reference for the claim about the Nampo apples. kev. 12:54, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
- Done, thanks. Would anyone happen to know if the administrative divisions of Nampo changed after it was demoted in 2004? -- Visviva 13:41, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nanpu
Now Nanpu redirects here. Is this necessary? In other words, is this a possible variant of the city name? I am considering whether I can make it a redirect to Nanpū (name of train in Japan) or it should be kept as a disambiguation page to Nampho and Nanpū. --Sushiya (talk) 03:29, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
