Namugenyi Kiwanuka

Namugenyi "Nam" Kiwanuka (born in Uganda) and is a Canadian television personality and journalist. Formerly a VJ for MuchMusic from 1999 to 2003, she was a host of NBA XL and CFL Crunch on Rogers Sportsnet.
Kiwanuka came to Canada with her family in 1983, following the Ugandan Civil War.
She was given the Christian name Mary, which she used while attending Ryerson University in Toronto in the mid-1990s, where she was in the journalism program.
