Namiko Chan

Namiko Chan Takahashi (born 1974) is a Singapore-based, Singaporean-artist. Her husband is Singapore lawyer/poet Aaron Lee.

Chan completed training as a lawyer at the National University of Singapore from 1993 to 1997. She then went on to become an art teacher in the Singapore national education system. Winning a Shell-NAC Scholarship she went on to study at the Art Students League of New York from 1999 to 2002. Amongst her teachers there were Harvey Dinnerstein, Ronnie Landfield, Daniel Greene and Mary Beth McKenzie.

In her free time, Chan's activities include dancing as well as singing with Agapella, a Christian contemporary a cappella vocal group.
