Namekagon Lake is a lake in eastern Bayfield County, Wisconsin. It is 3,227 acres (13.06 km²) in area, and flows from Namekagon River. The name 'Namekagon' is pronounced 'Na-muh-Kor-gun' and is from a Chippewa or Ojibwe word meaning 'the lake of many sturgeons'.
