[edit] Design of euro banknotes in Euro article
If you select the "history" tab at the top of each article, you can see who changed what, and why.
You (or at least I think it was you?) added an interesting snippet about the competition to design the euro banknotes. I presume you were surprised when it disappeared, so you put it back. I'm afraid that I shall have to take it out again but, since you have a proper login name, this time I can tell you why. There is a problem that the main Euro article is too long - much longer than the recommended maximum. So some of us are editing it down by moving the more detailed material into subsidiary articles. Your contribution is an example. It is too detailed for the main article, but it is very relevant in the subsidiary artice Euro banknotes. So I didn't just delete what you said, I cut it out and pasted it there. I hope you will agree that this was a reasonable thing to do. If not, please leave me a message at user talk:Red King. Best wishes and welcome to wikipedia. --Red King 19:11, 20 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thessaloniki on the Article Improvement Drive
Hey Nakis, I nominated the Thessaloniki article as a candidate for the Article Improvement Drive. The article is so very close to becoming a featured article so I thought it was appropriate that it be a candidate for the AID. Please feel free to vote at the AID page here. Thanks! --Caponer 00:49, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
