Es Master en Estrategias de Calidad Total, de la EOI, -Escuela de Negocios - Madrid España. En el área de Gestión de Negocios posee un Magíster en Dirección y Gestión de Empresas, de la Universidad Diego Portales. Además, es Master of Business Administration (MBA), ESERP Business School de España., Ha complementado sus estudios en Economía y dirección de empresa con un Master en Dirección de Negocios Internacionales
NAHUR J.MELÉNDEZ CASTILLO, Economist, graduated from Simon Fraser University, British Columbia, Canada. He studied Total Quality Management and Specialized Industrial Standardization at the University of Nagoya Japan and the Aichi-ken Chusho Kigyo Center, as an International Consultant in Consulting Services for SMB, using Japanese productivity and quality technique. He holds a Masters degree in Strategies of Total Quality Management from EOI - School of Industrial Organization, Madrid Spain. In the area of Management, he has a Masters degree in Business Management from the University Diego Portales, Chile. He has complemented his studies in Economics and Quality Management with a Masters degree in Business Administration from ESERP, School of Science in Management at the University of Barcelona, Spain.
He has 14 years of experience as a consultant with more than 450 companies in Canada, Chile and Japan advising them in their different productive sectors. As a consultant he has not only worked in subjects related to quality, competitiveness, leadership, productive modernization, and soft technologies of administration, but he has also carried out consultancies in regional and productive development. Besides this he has designed several development programs such as: the Territorial Integrated Programs and Cluster Development. He has worked as an advisor for different government and development agencies (Chilean National Agency for Business Development, Chilean National Agency for Fishery , National Founding for Regional Development , Regional Ministry for planning Regional Government , Ministry of Economy, Ministry of national planning, Ministry of Agriculture National Quality Division of Agriculture and Development.) He has participated as a lecturer in panels, forums, seminars, workshops and analysis groups at executive, academic, and government levels in subjects related to the aperture of external markets and the global economy, productivity and quality. In his seminars throughout the country, he has had the opportunity to train more than two thousand five hundred people, of different productive sectors. He is the author of publications on issues of quality and modernization, relating to how the SMB organizations have to be improved to be inserted into the global market. He also has been a partner and company director. He is a member of the Registered National List of Professors and Specialists in Excellence Models at the Center for Quality and Productivity of Chile -Chile Quality (CNPC). He is a senior examiner of the National Prize of Quality. He had participated as an auditor/ leader in the excellence model for evaluating the diagnoses lifted by the Ministry of Health. He has been an external auditor for the evaluation the New System of Quality of the Ministry of Education. He has been a visiting professor in several universities for courses and seminars on Planning and TQM, and Continuous Improvement.
