[edit] Summary

This is another of the Forts at Jaipur on the other side of the hill near to the popular Jai Garh fort. Nahaargarh was acceded to the government of India and is only being worked upon now. This fort houses a museum which most visitors are either unaware of and therefore miss out completely, or, one that finds little interest among local guides.

Apart from this, this fort also has a magnificent view of the Old Jaipur City as well as the adjoining 'new' Jaipur, something that most people would certainly not want to miss. This was build and created under instructions by Mahendra Singh Naruka.

I shot this Photograph atop the NahaarGarh Fort during my recent trip to Jaipur (December 2005).
