Nachole is located at 24.7292° N 88.4194° E . It has 16940 units of house hold and total area 283.68 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Nachole has a population of 97119. Males constitute are 51.07% of the population, and females 48.93%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 47535. Nachole has an average literacy rate of 24.6% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
