Talk:Nabu

Quick question: When you say that the etymology is disputed, you don't mention which speakers of what language originally called that god "Nabu". If Semitic or Sumerian in origin, then the Southern Slavic (Indo-European) etymology makes no sense. Is there evidence that the Southern Slavs borrowed words from the ancient near-East?
