Description

N scale metal kit body representing British Rail 18000 which was a prototype mainline Gas turbine-electric locomotive built for British Railways in 1949 by Brown Boveri. It was ordered by the Great Western Railway in 1940, but construction was delayed due to World War II. It spent its working life operating express passenger services. Annoyingly, I fixed the roof on back-to-front, but as the prototype is so rare, no-one ever knows! One day I may get around to fixing it!
