n4g, news for gamers, is a popular video game internet discussion forum. It is based on user created content, where registered users submit news about games and gaming industry from all across the Internet, with reference link.

The site shows news submitted by registered users. The news should have verifiable source. The popularity of news is measured in degrees. Every news gets higher and higher degreed as it becomes more and more popular. Degree number of popular news is shown in Red. Top three most popular news come at top, highlighted, on the front page of the portal. Members are allowed to discuss and comment on any news. The comment zone is consisting of two zones, Open zone and Gamer zone. Gamer zone is strictly moderated and Fanboy fights and hate arguments are supposed to be avoided. Open zone is a less moderated zone.

Every user can submit news. Each user have a number of bubbles, a measure of how correct other users think he is. Each user can give bubbles to other users. Comments of users having less than two bubbles are hidden by default.
