[edit] Fenix*TX related articles
Hi, I see you are rather new to WikiPedia, so welcome! However, I noticed you made a few rookie mistakes on a lot of the Fenix*TX related aritcles, maybe you could try to avoid them in the future:
- For staters, Riverfenix is not written with a capital F. I know on the G.B.O.H. EP it is spelled as two separate words, but after that, they stuck to the spelling "Riverfenix".
- Also, when starting a new article (or when editing one), please take advantage of the "Show preview" button. The edit summary of Riverfenix (album) for example lists dozens of edits, even though the last one is the only one people should be able to see. So please only hit the "Save page" button once you really think the article is finished.
- When copying an album article and editing just the information in the infobox and the track listing and such, please make sure you edit all information that does not apply to the new album article (I'm referring to the Fenix*TX (album)/Riverfenix (album)). For example, the Riverfenix article is currently listed in the Category: 1999 albums and Category:Final albums, which both do not apply to the Riverfenix album.
- I noticed you uploaded the Riverfenix album cover twice (Image:Riverfenix cover.jpg and Image:Riverfenix album.jpg). Please refrain from doing that in the future, as one of them will have to be deleted.
Anyway, I hope I didn't discourage you from further contributing to WikiPedia. :) HarryCane 14:51, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Bfmv-ep.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Bfmv-ep.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 08:42, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:17 Reasons.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:17 Reasons.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
-
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Volume2CKY.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Volume2CKY.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 13:03, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
