User:N-true/List of Klingon computer terms

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Back in the days when I worked on translating the Klingon language version of Wikipedia (which has now been moved to Wikia), I made a list of the computer related terms that I had to come up with. I think this might come useful who also try to translate a program into Klingon. Note that the terms I'm coining here are in now way canon translations; however, except for the word wIqIpe'DIya (Wikipedia) and GNU, which I kept, I didn't invent any neologisms.

I will give the literal translation for each item in the list as well... later. By the way, only now I am getting the idea of checking the Klingon translation of Google for words that they already coined. So some of the words here might be newer than those used on the tlhIngan Hol wIqIpe'DIya on Wikia.
