Mzab (in Arabic: مزاب) is an Arab tribe in Morocco. It is not to be confused with an Algerian Berber tribe that has the same name (see M'zab). The tribe's land is in the Chaouia plain located south of Casablanca. Mzab as well as the other Arab tribes living in the coastal plains descend from the Banu Hilal and Banu Sulaim tribes that moved from Arabia to North Africa in the 12th century C.E.
Mzab is divided into many smaller tribes, the most important of which are:
- Hamdawa حمداوة
- Khzazra الخزازرة
- Oulad Fares اولاد فارس
- Oulad Belbagi اولاد بلباجى Belbagi
