This article has a good history section, but that part needs to be referenced, and the section on the disease needs to be expanded, and the cultural references needs to be trimmed (down to one, probably). --Joelmills 20:48, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Au bey it infects cats too.

According to [1] and [2], myxomatosis does not infect cats, although cats may carry fleas which carry the virus. -- Tim Starling 07:50, Sep 8, 2004 (UTC)
