I'm a bit confused about the history of Mystic. [1] seems to imply that it was part of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. I see that Stonington, Connecticut changed affiliation from Massachusetts Bay to Connecticut; I assume this is was a separate settlement, though? Did Mystic also change affiliation? When was it first settled? I'm trying to fill in some blanks for the timeline on Massachusetts Bay Colony. Also, how and when and why did Mystic get split up between two municipalities, Stonington and Groton, Connecticut? -- Beland 10:23, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
