Ribbon Hopf Algebras Hi I've added the antipode in the list of elements at the end of the page. It appears throughout this short page, but the reference I use more often than not assumes that you have built up to the Ribbon Hopf algebra and that you know what the antipode is. [edit] Race and POV
Hello. Not sure what you're talking about, as what I've done mostly is reverting changes that did not have consensus or that were too much at the same time. I have hardly touched the article in over a week now... So, can you please point me to where I was "pushing my POV", please?--Ramdrake 18:27, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- It was a general statement. You are rank with POV and you damn well know it. Please try to be more objective. Myrkkyhammas 09:18, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your edit summary
Your claim that all the information at solvable Lie algebra was contained in Lie algebra was just wrong. Speedy deletion is a highly inappropriate tool for this, even if the page was to be redirected. Did you check the number of incoming links and redirects? A deletion would cause red links to appear and is not the way we do things. Charles Matthews 19:38, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
- Have you read the article on Lie algebras? Do you know anything about the structure theory of Lie algebras? If so, then you would agree. Myrkkyhammas 09:17, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- Also - is there a tool that is not recommendation for "speedy" deletion? I didn't necessarily want the page down immediately but it was the only option I could find. If there is a way to recommend "normal" deletion, it would be nice to know how to do it. Myrkkyhammas 09:31, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
Right. Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion has 20 categories for speedy deletion (12+8), and solvable Lie algebra fits none of those. You are well out of order. I didn't necessarily want the page down immediately just shows your lack of experience here. The page could have been deleted by an admin within 30 seconds, who trusted that your edit summary was accurate. You may want Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, but all you have argued has never justified more than a merge back into Lie algebra.
Your questions Have you read the article on Lie algebras? Do you know anything about the structure theory of Lie algebras? are just basic rudeness. Please observe WP:CIVIL. I once gave a 72 hour graduate course on Lie theory at Harvard. I have been here editing mathematics articles for about four years. I don't usually mention these things in discussion, but you seem to over-rate yourself. Charles Matthews 11:34, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikimania in Atlanta!
Hi! I noticed your involvement on U.S. South-related articles, categories and WikiProjects, and I wanted to let you know about a bid we're formulating to get next year's Wikimania held in Atlanta! If you would like to help, be sure to sign your name to the "In Atlanta" section of the Southeast team portion of the bid if you're in town, or to the "Outside Atlanta" section if you still want to help but don't live in the city or the suburbs. If you would like to contribute more, please write on my talk page, the talk page of the bid, or join us at the #wikimania-atlanta IRC chat on freenode.org. Have a great day!
P.S. While this is a template for maximum efficiency, I would appreciate a note on my talk page so I know you got the message, and what you think. This is time-sensitive, so your urgent cooperation is appreciated. :) Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 01:22, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
