She then decided to take courses of song to association “the Voices of Gold”, with Indira Henni who becomes also her artistic director. Contest in concerts through France, Myriam Abel saw her first televisual experiment then, at the time of one radio-hook in Paris, televised on France 3: May 2, 1997, she thus passes in the emission I pass on TV . The public voted to 93% for her, and gave to Myriam a certain notoriety. Consequently, the official receptions are connected. Myriam sang with known orchestras, like those of Gilles Pellegrini or Rene coll. She was also selected for the final of I pass on tv it June 17 1997, in which she finished first. The young type-setter Tristan Fedoras noticed her then and contacts Indira Henni in 1997. He writes some titles for Myriam, which do not hold the attention of the record companies. He also became her new manager and then suggested she concentrate on her own musical style. Together, they record her first new songs. Tristan taught Myriam to control her vibrato and harmonics. Hoping for more outlets than in the South of France, he also decides to take along Myriam to Paris as of its majority. While waiting, Tristan presented Myriam at the selection Seeds of star , it October 9, 1998 with Beaune (Coast-in Or). Myriam won the contest vis-a-vis 70 candidates. But the production of M6 Metropolis decided at the same period that the emission from now on would be devoted only to the juniors, which eliminated Myriam. In December 1998, she recorded new titles composed by Tristan Fedoras, including the song the children will be kings . This title enabled her to be selected for the contest of the Rose d' Or of Antibes , July 2, 1999. Myriam finished second. In September 1999, she started to sing in American Dream, then, six months later, at the Three Mailletz, two Parisian restaurants. Two months later, she was chosen by Disney for the interpretation of the song When she still loved me , title of the original song of Toy Story 2 . She carried then the pseudonym of Myriam Morea. In January 2000, Myriam took part in the evening of KKL with the Sport hall in first part of Larusso. She met on this occasion the producers of Gloria Gaynor, with whom she worked for two years. They record together several songs including Like I love you , which she interprets at the time of the Chance with the songs it October 19 2000, but which will be finally released as a single only in 2001, for Loana. In 2003, Myriam returned to the orchestra Festival Mibely , which still enabled her to work its insurance and its control of the scene. She takes part in the same period with the casting of In search of a New Star , where she was eliminated as of the first stage from the selections in Marseilles. She took her chances again at the time of the third edition of the TV-hook of M6, this time successfully. In the course of several weeks, she proved, during her interpretations of titles to sonorities soul, to have a vocal talent which filled the jury with enthusiasm and allowed her to win the competition, head-to-head against Pierrick Lilliu, in June 2005. She thus won the possibility of recording an album at Sony BMG. However, the contract that Myriam had previously signed with Outcom Production and Mr Cunny was made public, which was on the one hand against with the rules of the show (reserved to the amateurs), and prevented on the other hand the fast release of an album with Sony BMG (thus, it was the finalist Pierrick Lilliu which leaves an album in first, as of September 2005). Despite everything, Myriam, who chooses from now on the pseudonym of Myriam Abel, releases her first single, Donne at the end of 2005. It is signed Lara Fabian and Jean-Felix Lalanne and moves away clearly from sonorities until the public could wait. In addition, the title is withdrawn from the waves by BMG before being again diffused, because of legal problems. The album the life in front of you is finally released December 26 2005, with nearly two months of delay. Debuting ninth in album sales in France, the album is however far from being the success hoped by the chain. Myriam Abel decides to remake a little her musical image by taking again the title Baby can I hold you byTracy Chapman during the summer 2006, while benefitting from the promotion of the new edition of Nouvelle Star . The album is republished with this title, which does not meet a massive success. Finally, only Donne reached the status of money disc, for more than 100.000 sold. Currently Myriam prepares her second album which should be released at the end of 2007.
