Mynämäki (IPA: [ˈmynæˌmæki]) is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Finland Proper region. The municipality has a population of 6,334 (2004-12-31) and covers an area of 457.51 km² of which 1.78 km² is water. The population density is 13.90 inhabitants per km².
The municipality is unilingually Finnish. The municipality has previously also been known as "Virmo" in Swedish documents, but is today referred to as "Mynämäki" also in Swedish.[1]
