My War (song)

"My War" is the first track on hardcore band Black Flag's 1984 album of the same name. The song was written by the band's first bassist, Chuck Dukowski. It describes someone who feels betrayed by a former friend. The song was a live staple for the band up until their 1986 breakup. The song has been covered by numerous bands; notably Rorschach, Good Riddance, and recently by one-man American Black Metal band Leviathan.
