"My Own Prison" is a song by Creed included on their debut album, My Own Prison. Stapp wrote the lyrics about his struggles with life at a time when he was questioning his faith. He realized he had created a prison within his own mind. Stapp sings all of the song except for the chorus, which Creed's guitarist Mark Tremonti sings.
