My Name is Jerry is an American comedy-drama film written by David Hamilton, based off a story by Morgan Mead and Andrew Janoch. The film is directed by Morgan Mead. My Name is Jerry stars Doug Jones as the main character Jerry, a forty-something door-to-door salesman who is struggling with a midlife crisis made all the worse by his failed relationship with his daughter. The film is being made in cooperation with Ball State University and will be filmed in and around Muncie, Indiana for release some time in 2009.

Jerry Arthur is a middle-aged man, in his forties who is unhappy with his personal and professional lives, and is searching for a reason to re-invent himself. Despite a failing relationship with his daughter he finds a chance to do that very thing thanks to a chance meeting with Jordan, a punk rock fan and local bartender.
