My Name Is Bill W. is a 1989 CBS television movie directed by Daniel Petrie, starring James Woods and James Garner. The movie is based on the true story of Bill Wilson, the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. James Woods won an Emmy for his portrayal of the title character.
