My High School Musical

My School Musical was a talent competition based on High School Musical 2 for the Disney Channel in the UK (January 08 - April 08) There were many similar competitions across Europe that specialised in Dance but the UK show had three categories, performance, singing and dancing and invited submissions from children 7 - 17 years to sing or dance or perform a special skill to specified tracks from High School 2. The kids could send in DVD's or upload on to a server. Those successfully chosen to go on the website were voted for and the top 3 from each category went to the Disney Studios for the Final. One winner in each category was chosen by Disney Channel viewers after, yet another, on-line vote.
