Notice intake ducts for the jet Engine. This is an experimental Model 22 which never went into production. From the background hangers, this appears to be taken at Yokosuka Naval base where all model 22's were built. It is unlikely the Model 22 could have been anywhere else since testing of the integration of troublesome Tsu-11 jet engine occured here. Unlike the Alameda example now in the NASM, this unit has intact ducts and appears from the exhaust tube to have one of the 3 TSU-11 hybrid Jet engines known to have been produced.
