[edit] Spam links

Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia, as you did in Dublin. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links. See the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. Demiurge 23:01, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Please stop adding commercial or personal-website links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. IrishGuy talk 22:30, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
Please do not upload images with invalid or unacceptable licences. A public-domain image has no conditions at all on its use; you can't place a public-domain tag on an image with conditions like non-commercial use only (non-commercial-only images aren't allowed on Wikipedia). --ais523 10:20, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
I'm afraid I've had to excise the external link you recently added at Bed and Breakfast.
We have a special procedure there for adding external links: they're added to a section in the article's discussion page first for a probationary period of 7 days first...Gaimhreadhan (kiwiexile at DMOZ) talk • 00:09, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
