A Sea Harrier piloted by Lieutenant Commander Tim Gedge RN, Commanding Officer of No 809 Naval Air Squadron, approaches the Cunard container ship ATLANTIC CONVEYOR to test its recently installed flight deck at Devonport. This was the first Sea Harrier to land on the ship. Two RAF Chinooks have already landed and are parked on the flight deck. |
