MUTE is an South African based metal band who started out in 2001 with members Morne Linell, Matthew Leech, Danny and JG Minnie. Dropping the original band line up a couple of times, The band has now found where it needs to be and is back with a vengeance. MUTE are influenced by a great number of things i.e. : politics, the world today, good times and bad times – always staying strong and sticking together! Music influences are Pantera, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Mnemic, Chimaira, Tool and so much more! The current MUTE line up for the past 3 years is: Morne Linell on guitars, Niven Povey doing vocals, Hendrik Burger on Bass and Storm Thomas on drums.

MUSIC & RECORDING: MUTE's first professionaly recorded song ,Shattered, was been recorded at the Dark Angel Studios 1 & 2 @ In House Records, while attending pre production and production workshops. The single was released on the FAT FREE COMPILATION, featuring some great SA bands and the UK band Blood Sundae, all damn good. The band finished recording their newest single ‘Circle of Souls’ and ready to listen to on www.myspace.com/mutesa. MUTE's main goal for the moment is to work hard and have fun, get out there in the scene with guns blazing and hair in the air.

ACHIEVEMENTS & CURRENT PROJECTS Featured on the South African Mother Fudd Music Festival 2006 DVD as well as Mother Fudd 2007 DVD. Invited to play the second Grim Music Festival in 2007. Featured on the International, S.A. produced, Fat Free Album 2004, working with U.K. band Blood Sundae. Offered airplay by Florida, USA based radio. Involved in many charity and benefit gigs, as well as an upcoming shows. After the first leg of the South African Radio Broadcasting Facilities Emerging Sounds Competition the band went straight through to the semi-finals, skipping leg 2 & 3, surpassing approx. 12 other bands. Received an invite to participate in the Global Battle of the Bands. Advertising and write ups in local newspapers, interviews over the internet and Fanzine’s. Investigating International exposure for the South African based bands.

OTHER PROJECTS OUTSIDE OF MUTE Three of the current band members are involved with other side projects being: Morne Linell - Dark Matter rhythm guitarist (Doom Metal) and bassist for The Death Valley Blues Band. Niven Povey - Vocals for JERK (Misfits cover band). Storm Thomas - Percussion for The Death Valley Blues Band, Percussion for Sub-Machine (Punk Rock) and Drums for JERK (Misfits cover band).

I can not find this "muting" which is used to detect persons who are going to enter in machines (fabrics/ industial area). If this happens, the machine will stop. This is a kind of security aspect.

I would like to know if there are "muting"s which can make a diference between a human and material who enter in a machine (over the transportation system, eg) FRANK: +34/690.906.252
