Musicmobs

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Musicmobs is a site where users trade playlists and sync their listening statistics. Musicmobs uses collaborative filtering to offer recommendations. Musicmobs also has an Mac OS X and Windows client application named Mobster that integrates with iTunes. Musicmobs makes extensive use of the XSPF playlist format for portable playlists.

In November 2007 the site closed, as its creator, Toby Padilla, joined the Last.fm team.
