The "Montreal Music Scene" has recently garnered much attention in popular media (The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Spin Magazine, BBC, NPR...). The growing success of the current "scene" owes much to a couple of bold local record labels (Alien8 Recordings & Constellation Records), as well as the Pop Montreal Music Festival.
The city's culture, a melting pot of nations from around the world, has produced a variety of artists and bands who are currently enjoying the limelight of "Montreal's music scene".
