Music Got Me is the first of two singles by Slow V & Retrospect's debut album "Radio". The other single was Need It Feat. Dane. Since it was a poorly funded and promoted album, the singles and the album had a limited reach as far as a fan base. Despite it all, the song received some airplay on the internet radio station hardcorejamz.com. The song was in the top 5 peaking at #3 for over 10 weeks in the fall of 2006. It also got airplay on the Sirius Satellite Radio station Hip-Hop Nation during the late night hours in the late Fall and early Winter of 2006.
