Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar

Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar was born in 1967 and grew up in the Jama Masjid area of Srinagar in Kashmir. He at the age of 17 in 1984 and became a member of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) when he was arrested for the first time.
On 12/08/1989 Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar carried out the kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed, the daughter of the new appointed INDIAN Home Minister. The kidnappers demanded the release of five of their comrades in exchange for Rubaiya Sayeed’s release. The government accepted their demands and freed the jailed freedom fighters.
Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar was arrested, finally, on 05/15/1992. He was released from jail on 12/31/1999 as part of the Flight 814 hostage deal and provided safe passage to Pakistan. Immediately after his release Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar renewed the activity of Al-Umar Mujahideen in Muzaffarabad, close to the LOC, in recruiting and training of young Muslims to the independence war in INDIAN occupied Kashmir.

Zargar grew up in Gani Mohalla of the Jama Masjid area of Srinagar, India. He was motivated into militancy sometime in 1984, but he became famous during the kidnapping of Rubaiya Sayeed, daughter of the then home minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
Zargar is believed to be an ideal linchpin for the Pakistani intelligence establishment in Jammu and Kashmir, given the fact that he happens to be a Kashmiri who used to live in Srinagar's Jama Masjid area.
There are at least three dozen murder cases registered against him in Srinagar, where he was known for his militant activity. He was first arrested in 1984 when he was only 17.
Four years later, Zargar was picked up by Zahoor Sheikh, a member of the People's League, one of the precursors of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front.

Zargar is one of the most deadliest terrorists operating in Kashmir, India. He has held himself responsible for almost 10 dozen murder cases of Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus). He has been operating an unknown millitant organisation under the clear instructions on Pakistan's intteligence agency ISI. While being arrested in 1994 in India, Zargar told the intterrogative policemen that he wants to convert the whole of the world to under strict Talibani Islam.
He revealed that he has enormous hatred for Non-Muslims especially Jews, Hindus and Christians. "If you want to end these terror strikes in the world then either accept Islam or wipe out Islam" he stated.
