Terra Burdigala is a Bordeaux negociant company founded by Stéphane Derenoncourt and François Thienpont in 2001. Its name is ancient Roman name for the region of Bordeaux. The company was founded with an aim to promote new quality wine from winegrowers from less prestigious areas.[1]
