Murray Maxwell
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sir Murray Maxwell was an English politician who had been appointed in 1831 to succeed as Governor of Prince Edward Island following the end of Governor John Ready's term in office.
Little is known about Maxwell's life, only that he was scheduled to replace Ready, but months after Ready's term had ended, it was reported that Sir Murray Maxwell had died in England. Shortly thereafter, Sir Aretas William Young was appointed Governor of the colony.
