I must be going crazy --you do so have an article on murdered children, I've been reading it! Jetseta Marrie Gage is one of those children. I have just lost all faith in this website so am not going to bother with it in future.

This is an encyclopedia made to collect all knowledge no matter how disturbing or gross. If it's something to be known, it's on here, that is the point of Wikipedia. The fact that these children have been murdered is a category so that people looking into law can find references to cases to maybe help thier case. For all things knowledge we turn to Wikipedia. We do not hide the truth here. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 20:16, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

I was about to go tag most of these with {{references}} and {{importance}}, but decided it'd probably be better to use this talk page.

I think this category is useless. Are murdered kids notable just because they ARE kids? I don't think so.

Murdered children could better go into some of the other categories on the Category:Murder victims page. Category:Murdered students, maybe? Category:People murdered by family? That category is grossly underpopulated!

This recategorization is assuming that the subjects are notable, of course. I've come across quite a few articles about murdered kids that don't assert their notability beyond "they were killed". People are killed every day. Voretustalk 16:53, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
