I was working on this article last year - maybe taking off a bit to much. Unfortunately I haven't been able to spend any time on it and I don't have a fixed internet connection. Im really happy to see that it hasn't gone completely down the tubes.

[edit] Cleanup and moving of list information

This article was in dire need of a cleanup, as tagged, and I have begun that effort. As part of this, I have moved the list of municipalities to List of South African Municipalities. That page is going to require a lot of cleaning up and maintenance, and I think it would be better to use it as a reference for the creation of articles, which can then be added to categories of municipalities, rather than a static list. Anyway, I'll get back to this later, and try and add some more information. Unfortunately, making sense of the intricacies of South African local government is a difficult task, as most of these have only been in existence, in their current form, for 5 years (or less).
