Munter is a fictional character played by Tammy Davis from the New Zealand television show, Outrageous Fortune.

Van West's best friend, he likes to share his wisdom and get stoned with Van. We learn that his real name is Jared when Van is told by Mr Hong that they have beaten up the guy they thought was stealing from the Luck Dollar stop, Van rings the hospitals to check for Munter except when asked what his real name is he has to think a while before remembering it's Jared. Munter didn't get beaten to a pulp, Eric did instead when he was caught selling the cards that Munter had stole.
His mum lives in the Coromandel and he spends much of his time at the West's house or at the Rusty Nail bar. In season 3 he hooks up with Cheryl's friend Kasey at Auroras wake, and they have sex in Pascelle's room. Pascelle returns home from a trip to Pakistan with Bruce to find the two on her bed going at it.
Later in the season finale he and Kasey get married.
