[edit] Texas Historical Commission markers

I did some checking into the use of photos of Texas historical markers. As per the website for THC (FAQ section) - The fact that private funds are used for part of the process does not mean that markers are owned by individuals; they are state markers and are property of the State of Texas. [1] Just as this building: Texas State Capitol is state property which can be photographed, markers can be as well. I have re-added the photo here. If you disagree with my interpetation, please let me know and we can discuss. Thanks. JungleCat Shiny!/Oohhh! 22:05, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

I responded earlier on my page here. If you don't mind, please let me know on what your legal department decides. By the way, please have them update the THC website FAQ section here to reflect the decision for future reference. Thanks. JungleCat Shiny!/Oohhh! 23:46, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
