[edit] multitasking

what is this?

It's doing many tasks at the same time, such as holding a conversation while you're doing work on the computer and eating a bagel. I'm surprised there isn't a separate article devoted to it. 66.189.116.168 23:00, 28 October 2006 (UTC) John S.

"MultiTasking Screwing up multiple things at once."; It is - admittedly - a very amusing statement, but hardly in the right place, and more of a candidate to the "Devil's Dictionary". I guess it should be removed. (Jan 29 2007 AR)

'Multitask' must acknowledge its bastard antonym 'semitask', defined (by me) as the ability to appear to be completing a worthwhile task, but to really be wasting the lion's share of your time on e.g. napping, browsing favoured desktop photos, brooding on old grudges etc. 78.16.104.250 (talk) 00:51, 8 December 2007 (UTC) Will Andrews (Dublin Dec 8th 2007)
