Talk:Multiseat

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The "how to do it in Linux" is out-of-date. It is possible to do multi-seat in Linux without any special software or patches. For instance, see http://blog.chris.tylers.info/index.php?/archives/14-Multiseat-X-Under-X11R6.97.0.html. JasonLong 13:48, 29 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Windows

There is no mention of Windows options. That should be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.229.179.194 (talk) 13:32, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree. However, most of the current deployments (like school systems) can't afford the high costs of Microsoft software. So, the low-cost Multiseat options on Microsoft's operating systems are limited. ~a (usertalkcontribs) 13:37, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mac OS X

And what about Mac OS X ?

I've seen no mention whatsoever of this kind of setup on this platform. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.101.237.151 (talk) 14:15, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
