Why does this article refer to MMCs as "Multi-Memory Controller" when volume 20 of Nintendo Power (a Nintendo authorized publication) calls them "Memory Management Controller"? --Damian Yerrick 03:31, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

I looked into it and Nintendo's patent documents refers to them as Multi-Memory Controllers. Still, I agree there is some confusion as to what it actually stands for... --Zelda 19:14, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
