Muharraq Island

Muharraq Island (Arabic: جزيرة المحرق) is the second largest island in Bahrain after Bahrain Island. It is named after Muharraq City, the former capital of Bahrain.

Several cities are located on Muharraq Island, including:

Bahrain International Airport and the Muharraq Airfield are also located on the island.
