Muhammad Ariff Putra (born March 1, 1991) is a professional badminton player in Bandar Tasik Selatan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Firstly, he played badminton, representing Negeri Sembilan, and defeated Rashidi Abdul Rashid from Johor in the Bestari Cup 2006. He won 12-15, 15-13, 15-7. After that, he defeated Muhammad Syahir from the same state. He lost 7-15, 10-15 in the semi-final.
After that, he played in the Alpha Cup 2006. In the quarter final, Muhammad Syafiq, defeated him 7-21, 14-21.
In 2007, he registered in the Bestari Cup 2007. In group C, he played Fahmi Akmal, who was defeated in the previous year's competition, and Muhammad Anas from Kedah, who was runner-up in the One One Cup 2006. Uniquely, his rivals are also his friends in training. But he could not defeat his friends' power. He lost to Fahmi 20-22, 19-21, and to Anas 15-21, 13-21.
In May 2007, he began his career within play men double with Fahmi Akmal and reached number 1 in tournament[citation needed]
