The Mud Salamander (Pseudotriton montanus) is a species of salamander in the Plethodontidae family. It is endemic to the United States.
Its natural habitats are temperate forests, rivers, intermittent rivers, shrub-dominated wetlands, swamps, and freshwater springs. It is threatened by habitat loss.
