I am still editing this article and it should not be deleted because it is a biography a prominent Muslim scholar.

Contents

[edit] Real name

His real name is available from: "The Quest for the Historical Muhammad", Prometheus Books, 2000, p. 172 f.St.Trond (talk) 14:36, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] POV

Removed "The Prophet", and "PBUH" a few times, added POV tag. Still needs to be NPOV'ed. ---Benne ['bɛnə] (talk) 21:53, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

My opinion: the article is not really neutral. The author talks of the legends as if he himself was a witness. Such a form of expression is appropriate for a fairytail. The article should be changed in a way that garuantees that it becomes clear that what is told is first of all a legend.

[edit] Cleanup, tone

I cleaned up this article a little, but there are a few problems still:

  • It sounds like a story, not an encyclopedia article.
  • Spelling of the subject is inconsistent - Maaz or Muadh?
  • Academic sources are needed. --Amir E. Aharoni 08:47, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Abraham

This parallels a similar Jewish Medrash about Abraham. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wolf2191 (talkcontribs) 16:01, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
